How it works
One handle. Two ways to open.
Most American windows slide up or crank out. A European tilt-and-turn window does both jobs, and you choose with one handle.
Handle down: closed.
Locking points around the whole sash pull it tight against the gaskets.
Handle sideways: turn.
The sash swings into the room like a small door. Air the room out fast, or clean the outside glass from inside.
Handle up: tilt.
The top of the sash tips in a few inches. Fresh air all day, rain stays outside, and the window stays locked at the bottom.

Every window we supply is a European system with multi-chamber frames, several gaskets and multi-point locking. Pick the material that suits your house and budget. We build it to your measured opening.

European windows are built to be adjusted. A sash that drags, a stiff handle or a draft is often a quick adjustment, not a new window. We service European tilt-and-turn and casement windows and European sliding and lift-and-slide patio doors from any supplier. We're one of very few companies in the area that both sells European windows and repairs them.

Family-owned, and in it for the windows.
Euro Windows NW is a family-owned company operating in Seattle. Our founder, Petr Shypila, set out to bring European energy-efficient windows to the Greater Seattle area at an affordable price. We're a lean company and we love our product. And we're one of very few companies in the area that both sells European windows and services and repairs them.

Do you only install, or do you also repair?
Both. We supply and install European windows and doors, and we repair and adjust European tilt-and-turn windows and doors, including ones we didn't supply.

Are your windows triple-pane?
Most of what we install is triple-pane. Double glazing is available on most systems where it makes sense, for example some interior or budget-driven openings.
