Wood-aluminum · No. 01

Wood inside. Aluminum outside. Almost no frame.

NFRC certified · U-factor 0.16 (triple) · Hidden sash · Aluminum-clad wood

Synergic (formerly listed as Synergy) is an aluminum-clad wood window: solid wood inside, an aluminum cladding outside. Most wood-aluminum windows are bulky. Synergic isn't. Frame and sash together are about 90 mm tall on a tilt-and-turn window and 88 mm on a fixed one, the movable center mullion is about 97 mm, and the sash can hide fully or halfway behind the frame. Opening and fixed windows line up evenly across a wall. Inside, you get solid wood. Outside, a powder-coated aluminum cladding protects it from rain and UV. NFRC lists the triple-glazed version at a U-factor of 0.16.

Why the hidden sash matters

On most windows you can tell which ones open: the operable ones have a thicker frame. With Synergic's hidden sash, the sash tucks behind the frame, so a picture window and a tilt-and-turn beside it look the same. Opening sashes also have no glazing beads, which keeps the inside clean-lined.

Hidden hinges strong enough for big glass

Synergic uses concealed heavy-duty hinges rated for sashes up to about 150 kg, so large triple-glazed sashes stay smooth. Tilt-and-turn windows can be over 9 feet tall without a mullion, and doors up to 11 feet. There's also a night-vent position: the window looks closed but lets a little air in.

Synergic is the wood window for people who thought wood windows had to look heavy.

Synergic specifications

Why choose it: slimmest wood-alu we offer · hidden sash and hinges · NFRC certified · very tall sizes.

Trade-offs: higher price than uPVC · wood interiors need gentle care · custom stains may need extra time; we confirm at quote.
