European entry doors
Locks top to bottom. Seals all around.
A typical American front door latches in one spot and relies on a deadbolt for security. A European entry door locks at several points along its height, pulling the slab against two or three gaskets. That's why it stays straight, keeps drafts out and resists being forced. We build entry doors in the same uPVC, aluminum and wood systems as our windows.

Which system?
- uPVC (P-500 / P-700 systems): strong insulation, matching our uPVC windows.
- Aluminum (MB-79N, MB-86N, MasterLine): slim, strong, any color; large glass sidelights.
- Wood / wood-aluminum (Synergic): warm wood inside.
For the grandest entries, see pivot doors.

Panels, glass and hardware
Glazed, part-glazed or solid insulated panels. Sidelights and transoms. Handle sets, pull bars and cylinders. Ask us about keypads and other smart locks.
A front door should close with a soft thud, not a rattle.
Inswing or outswing, and the threshold
Most US entry doors swing in; European doors can do either. Outswing doors handle wind-driven rain better on exposed elevations. Low thresholds are available for accessibility. We'll detail the sill pan and threshold for our rain.
